Seven Ukrainians died in the war in Israel, about it reported spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.
Consuls have established their personal data, are in contact with relatives and are taking measures for the repatriation of the bodies.
Nine citizens were injured of varying degrees of severity.
Another nine Ukrainians are considered missing.
More than a thousand Ukrainian citizens asked for help in leaving the territory of Israel due to canceled flights.
Diplomats are preparing for Saturday, October 14, the first evacuation flight to Romania.
“We are working on organizing additional evacuation flights. Details will be sent to citizens who provided their data to the Ukrainian embassy in Tel Aviv.
About 200 Ukrainians have declared their desire to evacuate from the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, due to the lack of security, departure is currently impossible. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ukrainian embassies in Israel, Egypt, Jordan, as well as other involved departments of Ukraine, are making active efforts to get our people out as soon as possible,” Nikolenko emphasized.
