The occupiers are creating a humanitarian crisis in the Kherson region in order to blame it on Ukraine,

He told about this on the air of the “Espresso” TV channel.

“Today, the situation in Kherson is very tense. The city itself has almost run out of fuel. Food and fuel prices are growing catastrophically. In particular, fuel prices, which the occupiers boasted so much about, are already approaching Ukrainian prices. All this is due to the fact that the occupiers do not have ferry crossings through the Dnipro,” said Nikitenko

The journalist said that the people of Kherson stock up on water and food and are waiting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Prices are also rising for food products. Since there is no supply of products from the left bank of the Dnieper. That is why there are already queues at the markets. The Kherson people themselves understand the situation. They have been preparing for this situation for a long time. The occupiers, realizing that they are losing one of their levers of influence on the local population – food products, prohibited the transportation of humanitarian goods from the controlled territory of Ukraine. By doing so, they are trying to create a humanitarian catastrophe in order to blame Ukraine for this,” he added.
