The US government received two NASAMS air defense systems from the manufacturer Raytheon Technologies – in the near future the systems will be transferred to Ukraine. About it on the air of the channel CNBC CEO Greg Hayes said.

According to him, the company handed over two air defense systems to the government a few weeks ago. He noted that NASAMS will be installed in Ukraine in the near future.
Hayes said that these complexes can shoot down everything in the sky – from drones to ballistic missiles and fighter jets.
REFERENCE. NASAMS – medium-range air defense systems. The main purpose is the destruction of enemy air targets at medium and low altitudes under any meteorological conditions. The system can hit targets at a distance of more than 160 km. The battery of the second generation NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system consists of 12 launchers (each carrying six AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles), eight radars, one fire control center, one electron-optical camera vehicle and one Tactical Control Cell vehicle.
