This is what Zelenskyi said stated in his own video appeal.
“In particular, I want to note today those units that provided us with a result in replenishing the exchange fund. This is extremely important: everyone who captures Russian soldiers provides us with the opportunity to release our heroes,” he said.
The President thanked, in particular, the 54th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion named after Mykhailo Tysha, the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade and the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, which significantly increased Ukraine’s ability to return its citizens home during the offensive.
“We remember our people who are being held in Russia. We must release them and we must release all of them, leaving no one to the enemy. But for this we need to capture the occupiers – as many as possible,” Zelenskyy added.
