In Kharkov, the Drama Theater was renamed after the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. About it informed Oleg Sinegubov, head of the regional military administration.

According to him, the deputies of the regional council decided to rename the Kharkov Academic Russian Drama Theater named after Pushkin.
Now it will be called the Kharkov Academic Drama Theatre.
Sinegubov recalled that only in March the theater came under fire from the Russian army three times. The Russians then damaged the premises of the art workshop.
The decision to rename is timely, the head of the OVA believes.
- They tried to rename the theater twice, but then the regional council did not get enough votes, then the project disappeared from the agenda.
- On November 9, a monument to Pushkin was demolished in Kharkov.
