On Friday, September 1, the Russian occupying forces shelled the city of Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region with artillery, injuring four civilians.
The Prosecutor General’s Office announced this in Telegram.
According to the investigation data, the enemy shelling took place around 12:00 from the territory of the aggressor country.
As a result of the Russian artillery strike, four local residents received shrapnel wounds.
16 apartment buildings, 12 private households, a critical infrastructure object, five administrative buildings and institutions, three educational institutions, shops and vehicles were also damaged by enemy fire.
In total, law enforcement officers received more than 100 reports of damage to citizens’ property.
A pre-trial investigation is carried out on the basis of a violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, record the consequences of the Russian shelling.

Also, on August 31, Russian troops dropped guided aerial bombs on the Kharkiv region, and the occupiers also hit the central market and the bus station in Kupyansk.
