Russian air defense could have shot down its own Su-35 fighter near temporarily occupied Tokmak. Photos and videos of its wreckage, as well as the moment of defeat, appeared online.
Information about the destruction of the Russian fighter appeared in Ukrainian public pages covering the war on the night of September 29.
Then Russian propaganda Z-channels wrote about this, clarifying that the pilot had died. The Russians assume that the plane was “erroneously” shot down by the invaders themselves using the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.
At the same time, the footage of the downed Russian fighter was allegedly taken by a Ukrainian drone SHARK.
The Russians claim that the plane fell in a field near the village of Novonikolaevka in the Pologovsky district of the Zaporozhye region, not far from Tokmak.

Officially, the Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on the incident.
