The operatives of the special service established that the local resident, while in the territory occupied by the Russian troops, cooperated with the representatives of the aggressor state and deliberately provided assistance to the enemy.
According to the SBU, the traitor turned out to be a 38-year-old resident of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. From the first days of the occupation, he was in the temporarily occupied territory of the Vovchan community and helped the enemy in solving issues related to providing fuel and lubricants, housing and food. The attacker helped the invaders navigate the terrain and provided them with information about hidden roadways.
It was established that the Russian fan tried to suppress the resistance of local residents. He “leaked” to the enemy the data of patriotic citizens who helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine repel the invaders.
Currently, an accomplice of the occupiers has been detained on the basis of Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
Investigators of the SBU Office in the Kharkiv region informed the perpetrator of suspicion under part 1 of Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Assistance to the aggressor state).
The detection and documentation of illegal activities was carried out by employees of the Internal Security Directorate of the SBU together with the SBU Office in the Kharkiv Region under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
