The Security Service of Ukraine detained People’s Deputy Nestor Shufrych at his home in the village of Kozyn, Kyiv region.

According to his information, more than 50 searches are being conducted in Shufrych’s case today.
“Shufrych is involved in the case of the Russian espionage network, created by Volodymyr Sivkovich, an employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation and a former People’s Deputy of Ukraine. According to the conclusions of the investigation, Shufrych, on the instructions of Sivkovych, appeared on Ukrainian and Russian TV channels with the aim of spreading Russian propaganda and promoting anti-Ukrainian politics. He is charged with treason”Butusov wrote.
It should be noted that Shufrych is a member of the deputy group “Platform for Life and Peace” and heads the committee on freedom of speech.
