The SBU identified the leader of the “punitive raids” of the Kadyrivites in the Luhansk region

About this reported in the Security Service of Ukraine.

It is noted that the identity of a war criminal, the head of one of the rapid response units of the Rosguard in the Chechen Republic, named “Akhmat”, has been established. The man used the pseudonym “Jigsaw”.

“During the occupation of the village of Makiivka in the Svativ district, the Rashist organized the kidnapping and torture of local residents. In this way, the invaders tried to intimidate people and suppress the resistance movement in the region,” the press service said.

Specialists established that on April 12, 2022, 7 so-called Kadyrivites led by Lobzyk broke into the home of a local resident.

“During the raid, the attackers stole mobile phones, household appliances and money from the victim’s apartment, and the woman herself was tied up and taken to the premises of the village gymnasium, where the enemy had set up a torture chamber,” the SBU added.

The press service informed that a confession was demanded from the woman in cooperation with the Ukrainian defenders, she was tortured with electric current and beaten with a metal-plastic pipe. She was later handcuffed to the battery.

“Late in the evening, the people of Kadyriv let the victim go home, but under the threat of murder they demanded to provide them with personal information about the residents of the community. However, the woman managed to get out of the temporarily occupied village to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities,” the Security Service summarized.

On the basis of, as it is claimed, irrefutable evidence, SBU investigators notified the man of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28 and Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (cruel treatment of the civilian population and other violations of the laws and customs of war, committed by a group of persons based on a prior conspiracy, as well as giving an order to commit such actions).

  • It will be recalled that the Security Service of Ukraine identified an FSB employee with the call sign “Sabir”, who coordinated Russian punitive bodies during the occupation of Kherson.
