“The seventh package of sanctions against Russia is our priority.
The new restrictions should concern Russian gas and expand the list of banks that will be disconnected from SWIFT, in particular Gazprombank, “the President’s Office said.
- On June 4, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the European Union had already begun work on a new package of sanctions against Russia.
- It will be recalled that the sixth package of sanctions against Russia in the European Union was agreed on May 31.
- On May 31, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on the European Union to begin preparations for the seventh package of anti-Russian sanctions
- On June 2, the sixth package was approved by the EU ambassadors, and on June 3 it came into force.
