During the day, 54 combat clashes took place.
In total, the enemy launched 5 missile and 33 air strikes, carried out 42 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas, informs General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, attacks populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine.
The enemy launched an airstrike in the area of Leonivka, Chernihiv region. More than 20 settlements were hit by artillery and mortar attacks, including Gremyach, Leonivka, Chernihiv region; Stepok, Grabovske, Popivka, Sumy region; Pletenivka, Kozacha Lopan, Chugunivka, Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyan direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with the support of aviation in the Sinkivka and Ivanivka districts of the Kharkiv region.
Here, the Defense Forces repelled 8 attacks by invaders. Also, the Russian occupiers carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Pishchane, Kharkiv region.
About 10 settlements, in particular, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Ivanivka of the Kharkiv region, were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 5 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka settlements of the Donetsk region. Dilyivka, Donetsk region, was hit by an airstrike.
In the Avdiyivsk direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with the support of aviation near Stepovoy, Avdiyvka, Severnoy and Nevelskyi of the Donetsk region, where defense forces repelled 6 enemy attacks.
More than 10 settlements were hit by artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Marinka direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults with the support of aviation in the areas of Marinka and Pobeda of the Donetsk region, where the defense forces repelled about 20 enemy attacks.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled the enemy’s attack southeast of Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
More than 20 settlements, in particular, Gulyaipilske, Biloghirya, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
During the day, the aviation of the defense forces made 13 strikes on the areas where the enemy’s personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, and 3 – on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
Units of the missile forces destroyed 12 artillery pieces and the enemy’s logistics hub.
