The UAE will send about 2,500 gasoline generators with a capacity of 3.5 to 8 kilowatts each to Ukraine.

This was reported by the WAM agency.

State Minister for International Cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim Al-Hashimi said that this assistance to Ukraine stems from the UAE’s belief in the importance of human solidarity, especially in times of war, and is part of the country’s ongoing efforts to mitigate the humanitarian consequences.

Today, the UAE will deliver about 1,200 household generators to the Polish capital, Warsaw, and the remaining generators will be handed over by January. This support is carried out within the framework of humanitarian aid in the amount of 100 million dollars allocated by the UAE to Ukraine.

Earlier, the UAE equipped eight planes with 360 tons of food, medical aid and ambulances for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Moldova and Bulgaria.

We will remind you that EU countries have already handed over a thousand generators to Ukraine.

It should also be noted that Kyiv received nine generators from Denmark.
