The United States of America has appointed the inspector general of the Ministry of Defense, Robert Storch, as the supervisor of the funds allocated to Ukraine.
Storch will start work on October 18.
He will work with the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) oversight bodies to oversee about $113 billion in U.S. aid to Ukraine since the start of a full-scale invasion by Russian terrorists.
Storch last week created a new team in Ukraine to better monitor US security assistance.
One of the high-ranking representatives of the USA already started working in Ukraine at the end of August.
In particular, the arrival of additional personnel is expected by the end of September.
