There are no bridges: British intelligence named the main problems of the Russians during the escape from the Kherson region | News of Kharkiv and Ukraine

It is difficult for the occupiers to run across the Dnipro during the offensive of the Armed Forces, experts are sure. The main bridges are badly damaged, the only option is to retreat using pontoon crossings.

The Russian command is seriously considering a plan for a large-scale withdrawal of troops from the Kherson region. About this it is said in the intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.

The military considers the recent statements of the commander of the combined group of the Russian Armed Forces in the war in Ukraine, Serhiy Surovikin, about “difficult decisions” regarding Kherson to be the preparation of an information background for the retreat of the occupiers to the west of the Dnipro.

“The main problem with the movement of Russian troops will be their placement on a one-kilometer section near the Dnipro. The main bridges are badly damaged, so they will have to rely on barge and pontoon crossings,” experts noted.

The invaders built new crossings near Kherson a few days ago, the British military discovered.

Analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) emphasize, that the occupiers are creating conditions for a complete retreat of the Russians across the Dnipro. Kherson and other territories of the Kherson region will soon be occupied by the Ukrainian military.
