During the counter-offensive operations in the Kharkiv direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured a large number of Russian soldiers. This was stated by the adviser to the Office of the President Alexey Arestovich on the air Feygin Live.

“Let’s start with the problems. A huge problem, a grandiose one. We have nowhere to put the prisoners already. So many of them have been recruited – the troops cannot cope,” Arestovich said.
He stressed that the replenishment of the exchange fund is due to the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov direction – to Balakleya and further to Kupyansk.
“A lot of weapons and equipment have been taken, prisoners have been taken,” Arestovich said.
According to him, the commanders abandoned one of the Russian motorized rifle regiments and fled, and the Russian military is now “running around the landings and looking for an opportunity to surrender.”

Andrey Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, spoke about Russian prisoners today on the air of the telethon.
