They may be spies: two Russians and a Ukrainian were detained in Albania, who tried to enter a military plant

About this reports Reuters with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Albania.

According to the Albanian Ministry of Defense, two people with Russian passports and one person with a Ukrainian passport tried to enter the territory of the military plant in central Albania.

“Officers guarding the plant reacted immediately, but during their attempt to stop three foreigners, two of our servicemen were injured,” the department said. The military is in a stable condition.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the detained persons are suspected of espionage. One of the detainees, a 24-year-old Russian citizen, entered the territory of the Gramsh plant and tried to take photographs.

The ministry said the man used some kind of spray against the soldiers when he tried to escape after being stopped by guards.
