It seems that Respawn has decided to “revive” Titanfall 2: long forgotten, but one of the best first-person shooters released in the last generation. After several years of idle play received a big update that brought a lot of useful changes and brought back interest in it among gamers.
Among other things, the patch fixes bugs related to player matchmaking and game shutdown in the main menu, and private matches are finally out of beta. Moreover, a new game mode Attack on Titan appeared.
There were also improvements to the gameplay and improved graphics, which made Titanfall 2 more attractive not only to new players, but also gave old fans an additional incentive to return to the world of the game.
Players were inspired by this attitude towards the shooter. Currently, more than 17,000 people play it on Steam, and in 24 hours the peak figure exceeded 22,000 players. Also currently on the game 90% discount applies – only UAH 79 instead of UAH 799.
Respawn has canceled Titanfall 3 – what is known
- There were talks about the third part even after the release of the second part. The shooter was even in development for a while, but eventually the sequel was canceled in favor of Apex Legends.
- According to players online, this update leaves the door open for a possible return of the franchise in the future. Or, at least, some Titanfall event in Apex Legends.
- Titanfall 2 was released in 2016. Like its predecessor, the game is a first-person shooter in which players control the Titan robot. But, unlike Titanfall, a full-scale story campaign appeared in the sequel.
