Two defenders from Dergachyv region were buried in Kharkiv


The region of Kharkiv said goodbye to two fallen defenders of the Ukrainian land – lieutenant Kostyantyn Tyukov and soldier Oleksiy Hyrenko. Both soldiers are residents of the Dergachev community.

Konstantin Tyukov was born in Kharkiv in 1997. In 2000, the boy’s family moved to Dergachy, where Konstantin graduated from Dergachy Lyceum No. 3. Later, the man studied at the National University of Civil Defense and the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University. Before the war, Konstantin worked in the trade and industrial holding UBC Group, in his spare time he loved practicing karate. In April 2023, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of the 71st separate hunting brigade, Lieutenant Tyukov courageously defended the Motherland, he died on October 16 in the Verbovoy district on the Melitopol front. 25-year-old Kostyantyn is survived by his wife Diana, son Artem, mother Tatyana and grandmother Nadia.

Oleksiy Hyrenko was born in the village of Manchenky. Since 2015, the man and his family lived in our city. Before the full-scale war, Oleksiy worked as a construction worker. In March last year, he joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, defended the state as part of the 127th separate territorial defense brigade, and died on November 9 near Novodarivka in the Mariupol direction. Oleksiy was 35 years old, the husband is survived by his wife Inna, daughters Zlata and Adelina.

On November 14, Ukrainian defenders were taken to the Alley of Glory at the Kharkiv Cemetery No. 18.
