This was reported by the publication Delphi.
A 50-year-old man posted a video on his TikTok account in which he spoke out against the dismantling of a tank monument in Narva, and the video contained insults and calls for vandalism across Estonia.
“What will be our reaction? What will we, Russian-speaking people, do? We need to react to this somehow. I call to find the fascist monuments erected in Estonia and engage in vandalism… Today is Ukraine, tomorrow is Estonia,” the man declared.
According to his calculations, Russian troops could be in Tallinn two hours after crossing the border.
According to Inna Toater, the head of the investigative department of the Ida-Haryu Police Department, law enforcement officers detained the man on charges of inciting hatred in a video, as well as supporting and justifying an international crime. His punishment will be determined based on the results of the investigation.
- On August 18, it was reported that more than 20 Soviet military monuments had been dismantled in Europe since February 24.
- From August 18, Russians with visas issued by the Republic of Estonia whose purpose of travel is tourism, business, sports or culture will not be allowed into Estonia.
