During the past day, September 1, the Defense Forces destroyed another 570 Russian invaders. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has lost about 264,060 of its soldiers.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
On the first day of autumn this year, Ukrainian defenders destroyed another 570 Russian invaders. However, in addition to manpower, it was also possible to eliminate the enemy’s equipment. In particular, yesterday the Armed Forces shot down 12 tanks, 24 armored vehicles and 12 UAVs.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 26.08.23 approximately amounted to:
- personnel – about 264,060 (+570) people were eliminated;
- tanks – 4471 (+12) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 8,637 (+24) units;
- artillery systems – 5560 (+30) units;
- RSZV – 736 (+1) of.;
- air defense equipment – 501 (+1) units;
- aircraft – 315 (+0) units;
- helicopters – 316 (+0) units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level – 4433 (+12) units;
- cruise missiles – 1447 (+2) units;
- ships/boats – 18 (+0) units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 8,043 (+34) units;
- special equipment – 835 (+4) units.
We will remind you that Ukrainian troops are conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction. During the past day, September 1, 45 combat clashes took place.
Meanwhile, the Russian military deployed a “reserve army” to hold the south of Ukraine in the face of a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To do this, they redeployed units from the Luhansk region.
