Urgent registration of passports is becoming more expensive in Ukraine – new prices

In Ukraine, from November 1, the cost of urgent registration of domestic and foreign passports will increase.

This is stated in Government Resolution No. 1180 of October 14.

Thus, according to the resolution, issuing or exchanging a passport of a citizen of Ukraine within 10 working days will cost UAH 496 (currently UAH 252).

The same service for issuing a foreign passport of a citizen of Ukraine for three or seven days will cost UAH 992 (currently UAH 704).

In addition, six months after the end of martial law, the cost of non-urgent passports will increase. To issue an internal document in 20 days will cost UAH 248 (currently UAH 126), a foreign passport – UAH 469 (currently UAH 352).

Note that the resolution refers to the cost of administrative services, and the full price of both domestic and foreign passports consists of the cost of the service and the form. According to the information of the State Migration Service, a domestic passport form costs UAH 246, a foreign passport – UAH 381.

We will remind you that in August of last year, a law came into force in Ukraine, which equates electronic passports with ordinary paper ones.
