Families who suffered as a result of yesterday’s rocket attack on a residential building in the city of Kharkiv will receive financial assistance.
Mayor Igor Terekhov emphasized this today, October 7, on the air of the national telethon. are reported in the city council.
He noted that 30 people who were injured the day before as a result of shelling are in a stable condition and are being treated in the city’s medical facilities.
The mayor reported that as a result of yesterday’s shelling, 74 buildings were damaged, including 69 residential buildings.
“Yesterday, our utility services worked all day and are working now to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
Regarding assistance to the victims, we have agreed with the French foundation, and it will provide financial assistance to each affected family. I am very grateful to our partners for this.
In addition, we relocated 17 families who expressed such a desire to a hotel and provided them with food products,” said Ihor Terekhov.
The mayor also thanked the townspeople who participated in the demolition of the rubble immediately after the shelling.
“I am proud of the residents of Kharkiv, who even before the arrival of the emergency services workers began to clear the rubble and thanks to this saved the life of an 11-month-old child,” said the mayor.
