In the morning of September 19, several explosions rang out in Melitopol, temporarily occupied by the Russians, in the Zaporizhzhya region. Currently, there are no details regarding their consequences.

“In the so far occupied Melitopol, the “peveo” of Rashists does not have time to work”, – reported Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov in his Telegram channel.

According to Fedorov, local residents reported more than five explosions. The loudest was in the “Avtocolorlyt” area. Currently, there is no detailed information on the consequences of the strikes.

“We are waiting for details from our military,” the mayor added.

The situation in Melitopol – the latest news

The legitimate mayor of Melitopol, Ivapn Fedorov, reported that the advance of the Armed Forces and their gradual approach is causing the occupiers in the Zaporizhia region to panic. In particular, from Tokmak, which is on the way to Melitopol, the Russian occupiers have already evacuated the “passport desk”, as well as the employees of the FSB of Russia and part of the so-called “administration”.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces continue to maintain defense on the occupied borders, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, and exhaust the enemy.
