The defense forces of Ukraine at the front are having success in the Klishchiivka area in the Bakhmut direction and are gaining ground in the Melitopol direction. As the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported in its morning summarymore than 30 combat clashes took place during the past day.

In the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces continue the offensive operation, inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, and secure themselves at the achieved boundaries.
In the Kherson direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct counter-battery fighting, destroy supply depots and inflict successful damage on the enemy’s rear.

At the same time, the General Staff noted that in the Siver and Slobozhan directions, the enemy continues to hold groups of troops covering the state border, and also conducts active sabotage activities in the border areas in order to prevent the transfer of Ukrainian troops to threatening directions.
The situation at the front
As ISW analysts noted, the Armed Forces continue to advance in the south near Robotyny and near Bakhmut. In particular, Ukrainian troops are continuing their offensive in the Robotyny district and managed to liberate 1.5 square kilometers of territory in this direction. Also, Ukrainian forces achieved success near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.
According to analysts, the Russian occupiers complain of problems with weapons, communication and evacuation, which allegedly hinder their actions at the front.
In particular, the occupiers complain that the range and accuracy of Russian counter-battery combat are inferior to Ukrainian capabilities. They also talk about the fact that their command does not evacuate the wounded and killed from the battlefield, and this increasingly encourages Russian soldiers to desert.
