The liberation of occupied lands is influenced by logistics.
Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said that the process of liberating Ukrainian territories from Russian occupiers is hampered by logistics.
As he noted on the national air telethon, the intensity of hostilities at the front is very high. The enemy carries out thousands of strikes on Ukrainian military positions every day.
“The process of de-occupation slows down the logistical supply of weapons. The intensity of the war is very high – 60,000 shells are fired at our positions every day. Of course, the amount of weapons that we need to receive – in particular, shells up to certain heavy calibers – is huge. And it is logistically difficult to do this quickly. But I think that we will cope with it,” Podolyak stressed.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, as of November 22, the Ukrainian military has liberated 1,886 settlements from the Russian occupiers. In most of them, social services, hospitals and educational institutions have become operational.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine should de-occupy about 2,000 more settlements captured by Russian terrorists. He emphasized that Russia’s war is not just about appropriating Ukrainian land and resources, it is a clash of “two opposite attitudes towards people and life”.
