President Vladimir Zelensky arrived in New York, where he will visit Ukrainian soldiers undergoing treatment in the United States, come to the main UN institutions and hold “significant” bilateral meetings. Zelensky noted that the territorial integrity of the state is a key principle of all basic international documents, in particular the UN Charter.
According to the president, it is necessary to return this principle to “full strength, destroyed by the Russian invasion,” and also to increase the UN’s ability to stop and prevent aggression.
“Ukraine will make a clear proposal on this matter to UN members,” he said.
