It is necessary to find a “fair solution” on the issue of students going abroad for education, the president said Vladimir Zelensky. In his opinion, the Ministry of Education should give students of non-mobilization age the opportunity to acquire knowledge abroad and bring it to Ukraine. The head of state stated this at the meeting with students of Mariupol State University.
He was asked about simplifying the procedure for students traveling abroad for the purpose of training and internships in order to acquire new knowledge and skills.
In response, Zelensky focused on the importance of avoiding factors that would create “psychological tension between the military at the front and civilians.”
According to the president, a “fair solution” needs to be found on the issue of traveling abroad.
“Separate programs for people of non-mobilization age, scientists for the development or acquisition of knowledge that Ukraine needs… I believe that the Ministry should work on and give you the opportunity to bring this knowledge to Ukraine,” he explained.
