Next week a summit on the Ukrainian peace formula will take place in Malta. There will be more than 50 participants at the event, the number is increasing every day. The President announced this in an evening video message. Vladimir Zelensky.
“We are actively preparing a new meeting based on the peace formula – the meeting is scheduled for next week, it will take place in Malta. Important states of the world will be represented – the list of participants is actually increasing every day. We expect more than 50 participants,” Zelensky said.
Today the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan confirmed to Zelensky that Türkiye will join the summit.
How reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malta, the summit will take place on October 28-29.
REFERENCE. Zelensky’s peace formula was presented at the G20 summit in November 2022.
It includes 10 points: radiation and nuclear safety; food security; energy security; release of prisoners and deportees; restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine; withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities; restoration of justice; environmental safety; preventing escalation of war and repetition of aggression; confirmation of the end of the war.
