Zelensky noted that the Russians are trying to mobilize in Crimea and other temporarily occupied territories, and these are not just crimes against international law, these are crimes against specific people.
According to him, now in the Crimea, the invaders are trying to mobilize as many men as possible into their troops, and Ukraine already has evidence of this. Zelensky said that this is a conscious attempt by Russia to destroy the Crimean Tatar people.
He appealed to all Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories: “Take care of your life. Help us weaken and destroy the occupiers. Hide from Russian mobilization by any means. Avoid subpoenas, try to leave for the free territory of Ukraine.”
Zelensky calls on those who do end up in the Russian army to sabotage any enemy activity, interfere with any military operations of the Russian army, and pass on to the Ukrainian forces all important information about the occupiers – about bases, headquarters and ammunition depots. Zelensky also urged to switch to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the first opportunity.
“Do everything to save lives and help liberate Ukraine,” the president said.
