On September 17, eight people were killed and another 33 people were wounded in Ukraine as a result of shelling by the Russian occupying forces during the past day.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko informed about this in Telegram.

“Consequences of armed aggression of the Russian Federation. Victims among the civilian population: 8 people died, 33 people were injured.– noted the representative of the OPU.

Tymoshenko explained that, according to regional administration data, two people were wounded in Dnipropetrovsk region, five people were killed and 18 wounded in Donetsk region, one person was wounded each in Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions, and three people were killed and 11 wounded in Kharkiv region.

We will remind that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the losses of the aggressor country amount to 54,480 soldiers. Another enemy helicopter was also shot down.

Earlier, we reported that on Saturday, September 17, Russian troops once again shelled the Donetsk region. As a result of the enemy attack, five people died.
