President Volodymyr Zelenskyi decided to change the commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Appropriate decrees appeared on November 3 on the official website of the head of state.

According to one of the documents, the position was taken by Colonel Lupanchuk Serhiy Kostiantynovych. There is no data about him in open sources yet.

By another decree, Zelensky dismissed the SSO commander Viktor Horenko, who had been in charge of this unit of the Armed Forces since July 2022.

The reasons for such decisions are not specified in the documents.

It will be recalled that at the beginning of October, the president changed the commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, Zelenskyy announced the development of a comprehensive program for the production of weapons in Ukraine. He also stated that the Armed Forces are ready to respond to Russia’s strikes on energy facilities this winter.
